Helsinki Airport shows a clue about wireless networks

..by launching a network which requires no pre-authentication. In addition it's free, which is also cool, but far cooler is that unattended devices (like syncing email without launching a web browser) work thanks to requiring no auth. That should go some ways to help those stranded on the airport during snow storms like this Sunday.
Update: Whereas the Finnish Broadcasting Company did not show a clue and broke the link that originally was here. Here's a search that still, sadly, won't find the actual article as of Feb-1. And yeah, the network works well from everywhere on the airport I've been at, though it's not without its warts: you still have to open a browser and click on a button before being able to, say, log on to Skype or download your RSS feeds with it..

But it still uses WPA, right? With the password publically prominetnly displayed all around the airport, right?
Or is it that they still only have *half* a clue?
Dunno, haven't been there yet so I'm relying on a news report at this stage. WPA is broken though, so using it doesn't improve things by a whole lot, might be different with WPA2. That said, anything that needs security hopefully already is end-to-end secured with SSL rather than just to the nearest AP+switch..
