At least according to Onno Kluyt and Tiger release developers. Sun is warning that we should not expect major memory savings, but my question is, can we expect major improvements in fresh JVM performance due to using classes that have already benefited from HotSpot optimizing in other running JVMs?

Update: Sun has closed the bug concerning this, but I still have not been able to conclusively find the answer to this question..
